Joe Moskus grew up at the now long gone and oft lamented Frank Moskus in Exile Bar, son of legendary St. Louis musician and nightclub owner Frank Moskus and Jan Mahannah. The family lived above the nightclub which was home to a variety of music acts and belly dancers. At an early age Joe painted superheroes while his father painted street scenes at odd hours of the night. Something rubbed off as years later Joe continued his art into the direction his father had paved for him.

After working as an Alternative Rock Radio Personality and starting the show, Joe and John, The Nocturnal Emission on KPNT-FM in St. Louis, Joe launched into PR and has worked on promoting major motion picture releases on a regional level.

Joe works a variety of subject matter, bringing his comic book influenced style to life on a large scale. His latest series is of St. Louis’s famous entertainment district Gaslight Square. Working from his father’s slides, dating back to the early 1960’s has been a fun and unique way to connect with his late father, reaching back to a different era.
